Truly Live.
Are you? Living in all and for all the One called Truth. Am I, are you, living in such a way to make a difference? To CHANGE THE WORLD. He did. Can we?
Dear Sister, Brother, Friend, I know I have lived far to many days without purpose, wondering why we're here, because most often all I do is meaningless, worthless.
I encourage you, I encourage every single Christ Follower to Truly live this life we're living. BE Christ to the world. If everyone who is called by His name would Truly live, the world would be a much different place. You, and I, we can change the world. Why aren't we?
"For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain(Phil. 1:21)"
How do we begin to live so that life is Christ? How does one become, not just like, but be Christ? It's seems too great a question, but maybe we just make it too complicated. For I know that He has given me everything that is needed for life and godliness. Or what about- "Be holy, for I am holy." We are supposed to be holy because, as, or for, God himself is holy. Don't know about you, but I know that God wouldn't ask us to do something unless we were capable of doing it. "Be like Me!" "Therefore you are to be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect." We've all heard the saying 'nobody's perfect', which on our own strength, power and will, we couldn't hope to be. But with the Creator, Sustainer, and Lover of our souls, living in us, I believe we are to strive for nothing less. Yes, we are human, we are selfish, but would God tell us to have low standards, would He tell us to be 'almost perfect'? No.
“Pray, then, in this way:
‘Our Father who is in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done,
On earth as it is in heaven....(Matt. 6:9-10)
We are no longer living for this world, we have been made new, and are living for Eternity. We are to be living for/like it is in heaven, HERE.
