Life.

Life is hard. Especially when it's unfair, out of order, hectic, chaotic, when there just isn't enough time in it, and many other despairing adjectives. In those times I'll think-"Where have you gone?", "Why are you like this?, "How can I get you back?" My heart is low, and I think I need something to bring it back to life, a jump start. How foolish I am to think that if good things come into my life, it will somehow magically get better. NO. It's the times when I want to give up that I need Someone, not something. When I can't do it, He'll come along with me- hey He'll even give me wings! I need to keep my focus on God, the One who not only is life, but gives LIFE. Wholly and completely. In Him there is unending joy. The joy in life, and we can thank Him for every bit of it. 
     In Merriam-Webster's online dictionary it gives 20 definitions for the word life. TWENTY! It really makes me wonder what the Creator's definition of life is. And. Would we be living it out well? The very first definition in Webster's is- "the quality that distinguishes a vital and functional being from a dead body". Are we functioning in Christ, are we alive? Have we put our trust in God for the everyday? 
     Good friends are so good. I stole this from a friend's Facebook status(sorry! Hope you'll forgive me!) : 
     "A lot of the time I forget what life is really about...I get caught up in my ideas and dreams and that's when I forget about the reality of the lost world around me. Jesus did and rose again because He loves us. And that's what is important. And that's reality. Nothing else matters." 

    Is it all that matters to you? Am I, are you living life purposely?
