Don't settle.

   The words "My yoke is easy and My burden is light." can mean so much to those who are weary and tired and are in need of God's help by their side. At times though it can almost bring you to a scoffing attitude. "Ha! Yeah right. Easy? Light? God, since when is anything you ask of us to going to be easy? " It is then that we have lost our focus. We have started looking to our plans, not to His purposes. It is also at that time that we realize that we're doing it on our strength alone. We won't become weary if we are working through God's strength, not our own. We have started to look at the battle, not the victory, our needs, not His promises, even our insecurity, not on His love.
   I was encouraged by a friend with these words: "Don't settle for anything less than all that God has for you." How those words rung out. It's almost seems to be our instinct to cower, to want to resist, to settle for some of what God has in store, but not living for all that He had in mind. Yes, I give permission, GO CRAZY! The opportunity to live out every situation how God would plan it, is yours. Don't live later to find out that journeys in your life could have very different endings had you taken a hold of all that He had in store.
