I think of a candid moment
Filled with laughter and glee
These are the moments
Unsought after
Not planned for like set in plaster
No matter how hard you try
You can't
You can't make a candid moment
Because candidly
It must take you by surprise
Catch you off-guard
You're trying too hard
It's about the surprise
But we all want a plan
Mostly written in our own hand
But those are my favorite moments

The ones created by the Master
I want it to be just as sought after
Even if not till after
I don't see it as a disaster

He asked me if I was happy
That seemed a little unfair
It's not what I thought in store
But it was meant for so much more
Yes I am happy
Learning some of life's greatest lessons
And that it's not about me
But what I will be
Seeking after answers gets tiring
Seeking His face
Perhaps that is what I should be admiring

The flash is blinding
Smile
You're on
Candid cameras can catch the reality
But isn't that what we love
Because it shows it honestly

I know some day I'll look back
Actually could tell you for fact
That these will be
The most treasured moments 
Things I work hard
To look past each week
Are probably the exact same
