Trust.
It's a pretty big deal. Recently, the words of Proverbs 3:5-6 have touched me in a whole new way. In my searching for trust, they seem to have taken on a deeper meaning. Trust. It's one of those words that, seems to me, should be paired with 'all'. Either you do, or you don't. You could say that you 'mostly trust' in someone or something, but then, that wouldn't be trust. God tells us to "Trust in the Lord with ALL your heart. And do not lean on you own understanding. In ALL your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight." Through looking up some words and definitions, I might say it something like this: With all your heart put complete confidence(again, it wouldn't really be confidence unless it was complete, with no reservations) in the Lord. And do not lean on your own discernment(your own knowing between right and wrong), but in all your ways notice God with high regard, let His plans come in place of your own, and He will direct your steps.
Folks, I don't know about you, but that sounds like a promise! If I trust Him(with everything), and stop even my consideration of what I think is best, God, the Creator of all, the savior to all, the lover of all, is, and will, guide your life-in the right direction. But, it's more than that. It's that the God of the universe is willing to give you a life greater than your wildest dreams. It's that He is willing to give me a life with great purpose.
I guess what I'm trying to say is this- GOD IS TRUSTWORTHY.

"What if just beyond that risk, just beyond the fear is a life better than anything we have ever imagined: life to the fullest"
- taken from Kisses from Katie: A Story of Relentless love and redemptionThis week I had dreams, plans(in an unplanned kind of way), parts of my life that I just wasn't quite ready to give up. I'm still not sure if I'm completely ready, but I've been praying for trust. There were/are questions, unknowns, things I may have to leave behind. I felt a little like I was going to be robbed. That everything would just be taken away. But, in all reality, I think it's a little more like extreme makeover. Yes, everything will be, look, feel different, but it will be AMAZING!!!
I guess what I'm trying to say is this- GOD IS TRUSTWORTHY.
And faithful.
What can't I place in His hands? He has only the best in store for me. Of course, because He's loving, He requires me first to choose. Choose trust.
