I Can Smile Because of Joy.

I had to play the part of the "mean" counselor one Tuesday evening in mid July to two girls who were being challenging. Then, I let one line slip that should not have come out of my mouth. She had a good come-back too, and she was right. Yes, hurting, broken, confused young girl I do have everything. I have every reason for joy. Because I have my Creator by my side, a heavenly Father who loves me, and a trusting hand that I can take hold of when I can't do it on my own. Joy comes from that.
Joy must be chosen.
Joy comes from thankfulness.
Joy is from the spirit.
Joy can show no matter the circumstances.
Joy can not be taken away without my permission.
Joy is contagious.
Joy is complete.
Joy is marvelous.
Joy overcomes.
Joy overwhelms.
Joy gives strength.
Joy is mine.
And yes, you are right. I should smile more, whether or not you give me reason to.
