Here To Tell Ya.

I hope you will be more encouraged than discouraged after reading this, but I have to to tell ya. I have been rereading Kisses From Katie over here. It stretches your heart, grows your love, and pushes you to pursue and believe God more fully. This week I read some words that were super thought provoking, but almost what I didn't want to hear. I quote:
""Remember God will never gives you more than you can handle." People repeat this frequently; I heard it when I was growing up and I hear it now. It is meant to be a source of encouragement, and it would be if I believed it were true.
     But I don't.
I believe that God totally, absolutely, intentionally gives us more than we can handle. Because this is when we surrender to Him and He takes over, proving Himself by doing the impossible in our lives....."
So, take heart. If life is crazy, hectic, overwhelming, confusing, or just down right blah-there is hope. If you've been questioning God why it's that way. And are upset because it does seem to be more than you can handle. Maybe, just maybe God has still given it to you. Not to make your life miserable, but if it's done right, we can hand our life over to Him and it is no longer us handling it! Instead of not giving us more than we can handle, He does, but does so that when it reaches that point, we can hand it over to our Creator and tell Him to take it. Proving His power, love, care, and good plan. Yesterday by text I received 2 Corinthians 12:9-10. It says,  And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ’s sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong.
This perfectly correlates with what I had been thinking about! When we are our weakest, we can become the strongest. IF we let God take care of it.
When it is something we do not have the strength to continue on with, He's there to take over. And that's good news.

Take rest for your soul, hannaH
